The Exiles are today very sad to announce that 2nd Team Manager Matthew Rowley will be standing down from his duties with immediate effect. Rowley 43, has been in charge of team for one season and although there had mixed results but it had been noted that results had improved in the second half of the season. The 2nd team had also provided several players into the 1st team, with some of those doing so involved in the Sam Cornish Cup Final earlier this month. The club had wanted Rowley to continue in the role but with a change in his personal circumstances he has decided to step down with the blessing of the club committee.
Rowley gave a small statement “Just wanted to say its been very enjoyable and I’m gutted to step down but for the first time in my life I’m putting a job before football.” Rowley has been at the club since 2013 and will retain his place on the committee and will remain on the playing staff. The club will now make a decision on who will replace Rowley and plan to make an announcement within the next fortnight.
